  • At Salon Skanda we require all new color clients to come in for a consultation before booking any color services. We also require any extension clients & “specialty cases” to come in for a consultation before we will book. We do this to ensure you as the guest, & our team of hair designers know exactly what needs to happen in order to give you your dream hair. In the consult you can expect to go over pricing, the services in detail, & your maintenance plan for the future. We also do a patch-test to test for any allergies.

    All of this to make sure we are on the same page & you are getting the very best servicing possible.

  • We do ask all new guests to pay a deposit which reserves your appointment time for you, & will ultimately go towards your services (if you book with us) , or will cover the time you spend with us. For example, if you book & attend a color consultation with us, but decided not to book color services with us, your $50 fee would then go towards the color consult. Likewise, if you book a new appointment or consultation & do not show up on the day of your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.

  • We have a 48 hour cancellation policy at Salon Skanda. You must call 48 hours before your appointment to cancel or you will have to pay half of your appointment charges.

  • We do not offer refunds at Salon Skanda. We will always bring you back in WITHIN 10 DAYS of your services to make any adjustments needed to your cut, color, etc.

  • We are a team based salon, which means we all work together. There are many times you will have more than one designer work on you during your visit—this is how we operate in order to get things done effectively and efficiently. You can always request a specific designer as your lead designer. The lead designer will always do your main services (blonding, extensions, & cutting), with help from support designers on things like shampoos, toning, & blowdrying.

  • Always clean! No matter what services you are receiving, we ask that you do come with clean/dry hair. This allows us to do our jobs in a timely manor.

  • If you wear your hair curly/in it’s natural state most of the time or 100% of the time, then we recommend getting the Custom Curly Cut. If you have naturally wavy/curly hair, but like to wear it blown out or straightened over half of the time, then we recommend getting the Precision Cut.
